I've not posted here for a long while. Well no matter. There have been MANY changes and eventful things that had happened since then. I've continued my relationship with my loving Darla, finished my last marching season, I've gone to a couple of symphonic band competitions, seen and done many things, learned about a great deal more music than I knew about, and just got to live a lot more. I've started a journal a long while ago. About the time I started this blog to tell the truth. Well at least my last post.

Let's start with Darla. There she is. She's the love of my life. I mean I just can't imagine life without her. She is very kind, understanding, loving, fun, beautiful (not only on outside, but very much so on the inside), and she only continues to improve herself. Being with her has made me become much more stable, a lot more Christian-like, and the obvious, happy. She has shown me so much in just a few months. A little over 8-months in a relationship and more as a friend. She is not only my girl-friend, but she is my best friend. That, I know without a doubt. Her name is Darla Marie Gallegos and I love her. I can go on and on about her, but then I'll never be able to get to the other things that have happened lately.

Well lets go in order of what I said and I'll even add some more to that.

Marching band is over. I can always reminisce about it now. Yes, there were many good times, many not-so-good times. But it was the best experience I've had in my life as of yet. It does not rival my being with Darla, but life experience. If I did not go into marching band I would have not met her anyways. So a lot of good came from it. We did 2 rock shows and 2 musical shows and although some years were better than others, the point is I still tried my best and got through it all in one piece and also became a better musician along with it. I learned how to play baritone this year and became a section leader of the baritones (T.K. and I). I also helped the trombones with learning since there were many of them. It was nice to know that the band program would survive by getting Mr. Winer out of the teaching in Ramona and to get a new band director so that the students would stay in the music program. As for symphonic band, I'm still in the baritone section with little Ryan coming to join us. Band is good even with the little annoyances that sometimes come with it.

This picture is just to show the times I've had in jazz band. This was The Evening of Jazz I had some time ago. It was one of my favorite jazz performances other then the San Diego trip one. Well maybe I did not like that one so much, but who cares, right? I finally got a solo, but I still need to work on it because it is no where near as good as I would like it to be. Hah, Nicky looks grump in that picture. She is the one to the far left. Jazz band was a great experience I've had and even getting up at 6:00 A.M. every morning was worth the playing ability I got from it. I may have overworked myself this year with all these musical activities I joined: Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Drumline, but I still love doing all these things regardless of how much I complained.

I've learned about so much music lately that I have to wonder where I've been for a while. I got a new i-pod as well. So I'm happy. I even found my lost ipod so that made me even more happy. Not much to say right here

Ah yes! I also visited my family in Wisconsin over Christmas break. I got to celebrate it with them and played in the snow for the first time in forever. Since I was a kid in Big Bear. And I was cold outside. I mean that weather was freezing! I got to see my brothers, dad, and second mom for 2 weeks this time. We did a lot of gaming there and it was all good. We even broke some sleds while going sledding. I'm going again in the summer and adding another week to my stay time. Maybe one day I'll stay for a couple of months, aye?

But as for myself, I've changed. I've been much more happy, I've been becoming a little more responsible, my self-esteem has sky rocketed, and I think I've actually even matured a little more. I've started to study with the Jehovah's Witnesses and I started going to the Kingdom Hall which is the equivalent of a church for lack of a better metaphor. I feel very at home there and just love being there. My mom has other things in mind, but I'll figure things out. I've decided to continue my bible study with Tom, who is teaching me.

Well, I'm starting to just come out blank. I'll save more from another time. Hey, I could just start typing my journal entries from my journal. Edit some things that do not need to be said, but yeah. Sounds like a plan to me.

Later days.
